Peter J. Watry Jr.

Born 1931 in Los Angeles, California in 1932, moved to Glendale, CA, where he grew up.

He received degrees in economics from UCLA, USC, and University of Missouri.

His military duty was 2 years in U. S. Army during Korean War assigned to  Stateside duty.

After military service he spent 5 years as a Cost Accountant for Giannini Controls in Pasadena, CA.

After working in the public sector, He became a professor and spent 35 years teaching Accounting and Economics at Southwestern College, Chula Vista, CA.

He spent 26 years as a volunteer with the  Chula Vista Heritage Museum and helped write and publish Images of America: Chula Vista and Then & Now: Chula Vista with Frank Roseman.

25 years (and counting) retired.
